TERROIR
Located over 1800 meters| 6000 feet hidden in the North of Argentina, the Calchaqui Valley displays
some unique characteristics Poor alluvial soils high sun exposure low humidity and broad thermal
amplitude make this terroir delivers high concentrated wines with accentuated aromas, colors and
flavors.

Chañar Punco, located over 2000 meters in the Province of Catamarca, offers calcareous stony soils
with a desert climate, colder and wilder than The Calchaqui Valley.

VARIETY
100% Malbec

WINEMAKING
• Manual harvesting in 18 Kg plastic bins selecting the best grapes since the first moment of the picking
• Cold pre fermentative macerations at 88°C
• Alcoholic fermentation at 2626°C 2828°C using selected native yeasts
• Post fermentative macerations for a maximum of 28 days
• Spontaneous malolactic fermentation
• The winemaking process and the ageing of the wine has no contac with oak
• The final blend is made by cutting the components preserved withour contact with oak 50 in concrete tanks and 50 in stainless steel tanks

Colour

Deep black color, with some red hues and violet edges. Lively and bright. Beautiful intensity
of a young wine. Dense tears are perceived.

Aroma

It reminds plums marmalade, ripe grapes, red fruits and soft fresh fruits that remind mint.
Harmonic and intese aromas.

Palate

Very fresh and juicy, displaying sweet and round tannins. Harmonic, with perception of ripe
fruits and grape. Long and elegant persistence on the mouth.
